Where to submit proteomic data?

We recommend you submit your proteomic data to PRIDE. This resource is centralized, standards compliant, public data repository for proteomics data. It has been developed to provide the proteomics community with a public repository for protein and peptide identifications together with the evidence supporting these identifications.

In a near future we will be linking our gene to proteomic data, and we are very likely to do so via PRIDE.

NOTE: NCBI Peptidome, used to be another option to submit your data, but is now offline and is in archival mode.

However, peptides or proteins identified in your study can be viewed as a separate DAS track (DAS tutorial ) on the VectorBase genome browser. For example, the authors of the paper Chaerkady et al 2011: PMID: 21795387 mapped their peptides onto existing VectorBase annotations. The peptides identified in this study can be viewed as separate tracks on the VectorBase genome browser using the URL http://funcgen.vectorbase.org/gdav/das as DAS server and JHU_Ag_v2 as the data source and the RT-PCR (and cDNA) sequencing to validate some exons can be found at JHU_Ag_v1.

If you have proteomic data, with or without any mRNA evidence, please contact us.
