Lavore et al (2017) Triatoma infestans mixed stages transcriptome assembly

These transcriptomes were made in a collaboration between Dr Andrés Lavore of the Universidad Nacional del Noroeste de la Provincia de Buenos Aires - Argentina and Dr. Jesus Martinez Barnetche of the Instituto de Salud Publica de Mexico.

The mRNA extracts were normalized for a better transcript representation and were made from insects at different developmental stages, eggs, larval stages 1 to 5, and adult males and females. At the same time, all insect groups contained of 50-50% of fed and starved insect to cover the most physiological processes induced by the blood intake.

The dataset of each transcriptome is composed by the assembled contigs and the singletons (cleaned and trimmed reads).
